Departure Flight

Flying to Chile on Delta 147 from Atlanta
The flight to Chile leaves from Atlanta at 10:05 PM on Saturday, May 2 and arrives in Santiago, on Sunday, May 3 at 7:35. Doreen and I will be leaving Pittsburgh on Delta 1455 departing at 12:13.

There is a slightly later flight that you could take if you are coming from Pittsburgh, but I want to be in Atlanta early. Carrie Lynne Good from People's Travel will be contacting you about flights. You can work with her or you can book a flight on your own. The good thing about working with Carrie is that she knows the Plus3 plan and all the details. If you do book your own flight, make sure to leave several hours for a layover in Atlanta on the way to Chile. I don't want you to miss the flight and have to spend an exciting day by yourself in Atlanta.

Return Flight

On the return, please note that we leave on Friday night, May 15 at 8:20 PM on Delta 146. We arrive in Atlanta at 6:10 AM on Saturday, May 16. It would be good to leave at least two hours before your next departure because we have to go through customs and passport control in Atlanta. However, it is not as critical if you miss your connecting flight from Atlanta because there are usually others and you will be back in the USA, where everyone speaks English.

The time in Santiago is the same as the time in Atlanta and Pittsburgh.,/p>
